How to Prepare Your Files
We require your files to be properly prepared for print, to ensure that your order is fulfilled smoothly, please follow these guidelines:
- Bleed & Trim
1/8" on all sides of the document will be trimmed off, this is called the bleed. So the size of the file that you submit needs to be 1/4" higher and wider than the finished (cut) size. Make sure that all background images and colors extend into this area to avoid having a white frame around your design.
- Safe Zone
Additionally, please adjust your text and important graphics to be 1/8" inside of the finished size on all four sides.
- Colors
The file needs to be in CYMK color not RGB
- Resolution
The resolution of your file needs to be 300dpi
- Submitting Files
We prefer a pdf file (1 file for each side), if this is not possible please send a psd, ai or eps file. Make sure all fonts are converted to outline. After making your order you will be prompted to upload your print-ready files.
- Blacks
Rich black ( 40% Cyan, 40% Magenta, 30% Yellow, 100% Black ) should be used for large areas of black and will give a deep solid black finish. 100% black ( 0% Cyan, 0% Magenta, 0% Yellow, 100% Black ) should be used for small black text (12pt and smaller) and lines, this will result in crisp text and edges.
